Q: Get missing wininet.dll when clicking Download Horses
A: Click on the link below to download a new copy of wininet.dll
www.nagsheadsoft.com/wininet.dll (should end up in your download folder)
click on wininet.dll in the download folder
right click on wininet.dll and click Copy
go to the C:/Program Files (x86)/Horserace folder
Right click on the C:/Program Files (x86)/Horserace folder and click Paste (replace the existing copy)
: Can't access HORSERACE demo
A: Requires Internet Explorer 8 and above and Adobe Flash player
Q:Lost registration number or lost program.
A:Download and install the current free trial version and order an update for a small charge from the order page to receive a new registration number. Must provide the name of the original purchaser to qualify for an updated version.
Q:Program screen won't fit on the display.
A:Change your display resolution as follows
Click Control Program
Click Settings tab
Move the slide bar to 1024 x 768
Q:I keep losing the horses after entering them.
A:After entering all of the horses don't forget to click Update Horses.
Q: I have not received a program registration number
A: Registration numbers are usually provided within a few minutes after ordering. If you have not received your registration number please email us at
Q: What is the difference between the trial and full program versions
A: The trial version only allows up to four bettors. Otherwise it has the same functions as the full version. Full version function is unlocked in a trial version by placing an order and entering a program registration number sent by email after the order is processed. You do not need to download again if the trial version is already installed. By entering the registration number received with your order the full program function is activated.
Q: What do I need to do to use my DYMO receipt printer?
A: You will need HORSERACE Version 6.0 or later released in January, 2006. Click the Update button to order an upgrade.
At Control Panel, Printers select your DYMO printer and make it the default printer by clicking File, Open, Make Default. Right click on the DYMO printer and click Properties, Print Preferences, Advanced, Paper Size, Continuous Wide, OK
Q: How can I export files to a CD or thumb drive?
A: Use Windows Explorer to find the following files in "C:HORSERACE"
Bettors, Horses Racex, Bets Racex where x is a race number
Right click on each file, select Send To, and select your writable CD or thumb drive
Windows writing wizard will write the files to a CD or thumb drive
