Pari-mutuel Betting Software

Nags Head Software began in 1992 with a program to handle pari-mutuel betting for Kentucky Derby parties. We found through experience at Derby parties that guests enjoyed the opportunity to bet on the race as though they were actually at the race track. It was important to have a program that was completely accurate and easy to use. Our HORSERACE product has evolved over the years to meet these goals with constant input from our customers.

After receiving a number of requests to provide a similar program for golf tournaments, we introduced GolfBets in 1998. GolfBets was based on the same solid program design and pari-mutuel logic used in our HORSERACE product. GolfBets has also grown by adding function and making changes that our customers requested.

HORSERACE and GolfBets were designed and written by software development professionals with over thirty years in commercial software management, design, and programming experience. Both products were developed with Microsoft Visual Basic Professional Edition.
